Really loved the cozy atmosphere and comfy room. Great value as a base for exploring. The evening meals were quite tasty, especially the lasagna! Overall a chill vibe made for a fantastic stay.

We had a great time as a group! The views were amazing, and we visited York and the spectacular course at Ripon, just a short drive away. The hotel is clean, and the staff was super helpful. Make sure to book taxis in advance for easy access to Thirsk.

The friendly staff made us feel welcomed, and the delicious breakfast set us up for a great day exploring the local area. I did find the dining menu a bit limited for longer stays, which could be improved.
